Unfortunately, nobody watched the WNBA before Caitlin Clark entered the league. If it weren’t for NBA dollars funding the WNBA, the WNBA would fold, because it consistently loses money year after year. With Caitlin in the mix, the league is doing much, much better, and (now) even appears on TV. The league still must deal with all the woke BS and fix it. If not the WNBA will not survive because the mainstream public isn’t having it. If this makes me a racist in your eyes, okay, but it’s the truth. Ultimately, the public (ticket purchasers) and the accountants will decide the fate of the league. Savvy businessmen don’t lose money for long before closing the shop down and taking the tax write-off.
