@Kate_Bradbury@severnrover@B_Strawbridge Roughly how many are you talking about? 100% to Sb sounds terrible, but if you have a small sample it might not be as bad. Oh and thanks! :)
@Kate_Bradbury@severnrover@B_Strawbridge Welcome. Y'day watched an A. urticae laying & retrieved two clumps of eggs b4 anything could happen to them. Will feed them fresh nettles daily & release with greater chance of survival. Along with some larvae should be several hundred. (Most years we have 18 species of b'fly).
@Kate_Bradbury@severnrover@B_Strawbridge Had 1 month ago ca 100x A. urticae larvae on nettles in garden; 3 days ago ca. 10x N. io & 2 days ago a "worn" female V. atalanta v. active on the same area of nettles. If poss., I want to search for & id the TINY #SturmiaBella ova. Seen a small no. of of S. bella adults already.

@seery_o@talktomeless121 That also came to mind and I did look up The Wizard of Oz in Wikipedia. The way sepia was attempted there is quite an interesting and complicated story!
@seery_o@talktomeless121 Not until the swinging sixties (red buses, etc. on TV) but taxies were still in monochrome & I remember that Wolverhampton & much of UK was still in white and black! Since then, there has been a trend via B & W to Flood Grey, Smoky Bog Grey, Ice Melt Grey & Forest Vermillion.😂
