The Orchard Fire in Benton County was first reported at about 1:38 p.m. Saturday. With strong winds, the fire has grown to about 500 acres according to the Incident Commander.

Crews are on the scene of an arborvitae fire. No structures are threatened. Most of the responding engines and personnel have been cancelled. The homeowner used a garden hose to extinguish much of the fire. Engine 1137 will mop up.
