Well we just got an email for a $50 voucher. According to chatgpt that seems quite low @delta it would be cool if your automated system just did better.
@Delta 1/flight delayed 4 hours do to electrical issues. 2/flight canceled because needed a new flight crew 3/flight rescheduled for the am. 4/delay” third engine” needs to “air start” 5/can’t take off because food is dinner need breakfast .. what is happening..
What’s crazy about this is I have to argue to try and get refund, the fact that you can have the main dish be wrong, and not realize that the entire order is worthless without it, and expect me to pay for the sides.
@DoorDash worst experience ever, the wrong MAIN dish arrives, and you all refuse to refund the entire order, it’s a $50 dollar order and you will give me $29 and credits, but not the entire order. I’m done with you all this is just stupid.
@_tnkr_@okaysurejan@captainspinifex@TheBlueArcadian@MrEchs I do weekly 1:1 with my team, I never ask for updates on projects during these, I use 1:1 for career growth and I start all of them with “what’s on your mind”. My goal is to get my employees to the next level, unblocked on anything, and to make sure they aren’t overwhelmed.
@sigje I prefer “no” to be the last answer. In a lot of scenarios diving into the question, gathering data, defining the desired outcome (in detail), will help guide the question to right answer. I think as a manager it’s important to focus on goals/outcomes vs finding ways to say no.
@brandt_daniels@RandallKanna Actually it’s more profitable. Most long tenured employees are not paid market rate. The incremental increase to retain, is usually a fraction of what it would take to hire at market rate. My assumption is that most companies just don’t do enough analysis on people retention.
@Grubhub_Care No need. You agent gave me a 20% off and $15 credit. Instead you just fix your app. It shouldn’t say it’s 10 minute away unless there is some interaction. And keep moving the timeline. I waited way too long to find out my food wasn’t coming which is pretty terrible.
@Grubhub pretty disappointed your app shows a 10 minute delivery window. When the time elapses the window keeps moving. but reality driver phone was broken so my food got canceled. Unfortunately I waited 1.5 hours before finding out now it’s too late to order anything.
@TuxedoPlasmosis @Grubhub True and I always wonder if my tip actually goes to the driver, or do they include the tip in the total amount and only give a portion.
