@ValerieAnne1970@moneyistheenemy Are you awake yet? They came for us with chemtrails which is still happening, they came for us with vaccines which is still happening, so next step is our food supply. Forever chemicals are in our waterways. Why should we ever listen to WEF, Bill Gates, WHO or Fauci?
Compostable takeout containers still suck.
The brown fiber clamshell that says "compostable" on it is probably full of PFAS forever chemicals, and almost certainly ending up in a landfill anyway.
The grease and water resistance that makes those containers actually hold your food usually comes from PFAS, the same forever chemicals being pulled out of drinking water at huge cost.
A 2019 study found compost facilities accepting "compostable" containers had PFAS levels nearly ten times higher than facilities that didn't. Some compost facilities have stopped accepting them entirely because the chemicals contaminate everything.
Even the PFAS-free ones don't compost in your backyard pile. They need industrial facilities running at high temperatures, and 11 US states have zero such facilities.
In the rest, less than 3% of food packaging actually reaches one. Almost all of these containers go to landfills, where they release methane as they break down.
The "compostable" label was supposed to mean better. In practice, it mostly means more expensive trash with a guilt-relief bonus.
Reusable beats compostable every time. What's your move next time you order takeout?
⚠️ ONE SMALL SCRATCH… BIG HIDDEN DANGER
That tiny scratch on your nonstick pan? It might be releasing millions of invisible particles into your food.
Many nonstick pans contain PFAS — “forever chemicals” that don’t break down and can stay in your body for years. When the surface gets damaged, these chemicals can quietly mix into what you eat.
The scariest part? You won’t see it… you won’t taste it… but it could still be there.
Next time you cook, take a closer look at your pan. Is it still safe… or time to replace it?
Source: North Carolina Health News. When scratched or worn, PFAS-coated nonstick pans may leach harmful chemicals into food.
