Reflections and gratitude from an incredible three days for the Scottsbluff Bearcat community:

- To our Band, Cheer, and Drill Team members and their dedicated sponsors, THANK YOU! Two trips to Lincoln for a total of four days in a span of 10. Your efforts and spirit enhanced the state basketball experience and undoubtedly helped lift up our Bearcats.

- Coach Gullion and Staff - It’s been a privilege to witness your dedication to the @bearcat_hoops program. State championships are not just won from November to March; they are built through strong youth programs, off-season workouts, summer camps, and the countless unseen hours you invest. Your commitment made this memorable season possible

- @natekelley_5 you have earned every single recognition and praise that has come your way these last three days. If Nebraska high school basketball fans didn’t already know how talented you were, they certainly do now. But, what they may not know is the kind of person you are - humble, gracious, kind, and a true leader.

- @OffAirOnPoint and Bill, your support and outstanding coverage of this team and @activities_shs is second to none and deeply appreciated.

- To our community and Bearcat fans near and far - you showed up, you showed out, and you made these last three days unforgettable. I have always been proud to be a Bearcat, but this weekend reminded me why Scottsbluff is such a special place.

- To our six seniors - Esai, George, Keon, Nate, Oliver, and Rylee - what an incredible four-year journey it’s been. Most impressively, you embraced your roles with selflessness, a hallmark of a truly great TEAM.

- And finally, to the Bearcat Boys Basketball Team, you represented @scbpubschools with impeccable class and served as true inspirations for our youngest Bearcats. You turned last year’s runner-up finish into motivation and accomplished a milestone reached by only six of the 280 Nebraska high school basketball teams that began the season in November.

I've seen Dru Kuxhausen, Trent Harris and every Scottsbluff team since 2009.

Nate Kelley is the best overall player I've seen in a Bearcat uniform. Not the best shooter, Kuxhausen was and is that.

Kelley is the most complete of them all.
