Aaaand I finally finished my first video! The review of the WORST anime of the season. I somehow ended up lip-syncing half of the animes dialogues to my review though. But I'm really happy how it turned out!

also, #myfirstTweet I guess?
@ArgusLtd00 @TheNCSmaster@myra_rindberg@TheAn1meMan I understand where you're coming from. The first time I watched it, it felt cringy as hell. But after reading the light novel I realized the author really doesn't give a fuck about the OP-ness of the MC, and suddenly the anime seemed like a parody in this regards.
@ArgusLtd00 @TheNCSmaster@myra_rindberg@TheAn1meMan And it's awesome.
Just like you said, it's outstanding. It's very self-aware and not giving a fuck. That makes it a lot of fun.
Not to mention, the novels get even more extreme and also quite interesting story-wise later. It's a very good read imo, and the anime did a good job.
@ladyKIL11700432 @TheAn1meMan Thats just how things are.
"Sturgeon's revelation (as originally expounded by Theodore Sturgeon), commonly referred to as Sturgeon's law, is an adage commonly cited as "ninety percent of everything is crap".

The second part is true though.
@TheAn1meMan Isesuma is still a wonderful wish-fullfillment power-fantasy isekai. Obviously, if you're expecting a deep character drama, it's bad. But that's not what it wants to be. As a lighthearted, fun no-fucks-given isekai the anime is unironically doing a really good job.
@itanimeirl I don't understand people wanting everyone bad killed immediately. Like, it's so simplistic and uninteresting and often unsatisfying as well.
I understand where the meme is coming from though. In some(!) cases it really seems dumb.
@Th4tN3rdy9uy@x_Jawzy@Crunchyroll It's Death March. :)
But yeah, the anime sadly really sucks. The novel (I read the web novel, I guess the light novel won't be worse, just a bit longer and less far translated) is one of my favorites though.
@William__jojo @itanimeirl No, they are manifestations of a bunch of concepts in form of a drawing.
Just saying loli=kid is way to simple. That's like saying thriller=wanting to be chased by the whole planet or horror=wanting to kill people.
