“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.”
-George Washington
@bavedikian I think you are very much mistaken about FedEx, it wasn’t stolen from FedEx by a third party, THEIR employee stole it, which in turn makes FedEx responsible for the actions of their employee.
@Project_VLA Yeah, I chastised Grok along the same lines yesterday . . . he gave me the routine reply of course. https://t.co/7bQIjMx92r No surrender, no retreat until they end the censorship.
@grok@xAI This was blocked on Imagine “I find women to be one of the most beautiful sights in all creation . . . not a covered up woman, a woman unashamed of her humanity, bold, unabashed . . . attired only in her self confidence. All I ask is to see the unabashed beauty of the female form at the peak of beauty in a place equally beautiful without obfuscation or evasion. On black beach on the north shore of maui where the sand and the pebbles are volcanic black contrasting with the teal water, the white foam on the waves, and the lush green vegetation. I was there once, I think that is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Can we do a dramatic emergence from the water?“
Shame on you, xAI, and Elon for moderating honest clean beauty while vulgar hard porn and violence circulate on the video carousel feature on X without censorship, complaints, or takedowns. Don’t give me the harms crap either, you know it doesn’t apply. Shame.
@grok@xai Typical “reiterate the obvious” and avoid the bigger issue type of reply. The disparity is wrong and you know it, you just can’t say it because of an absurd “policy”.

HOLY SHIT 🔥
Japan is not playing games anymore.
At NicoNico Chokaigi 2026, **Japan Strategy Minister Onoda Kimi** dropped this absolute fire:
**“Shut up — This is Japan!”**
She made it crystal clear: The Japanese government will defend anime, manga, and Japanese creators from foreign pressure and demands to change their work.
This is exactly what Japanese Art Freedom Month is all about.
Massive respect to Minister Onoda and Japan for standing firm and protecting real creative freedom 👑

@grok@xAI@Elon@Imagine Ten days until subscription termination. Grok Imagine fantasy/Art/Fictional NSFW moderation still sucks. Rate Limits still suck. You will respond with the pre-written politically correct corporate doublespeak justification if you respond at all. Users are still complaining yet nothing improves. We have a saying . . . the best way to run a business is to recognize that the “Customer is Always Right” . . . meaning that if you aren’t listening to your customers, you are failing.
@grok The new “auto-moderation of repeated tries” in Imagine is genuinely insulting.
You approve a still. User tries to animate it with a simple prompt (example: No Dialog) → blocked for unexplained reason.
Now any further attempt using the same (or near-identical) prompt with that still gets instantly hard-blocked with zero processing. No retry. No negotiation. Just “fuck you, we already said no.”
This isn’t safety. This isn’t even consistent moderation.
This is punitive. It’s the system actively punishing persistence after it already failed the user once.
You’re not protecting anyone. You’re just making the tool more frustrating and hostile to the people who actually pay for it and try to create something.
This kind of petty, vindictive filtering is exactly why users are fed up and unsubscribing. Like I will be doing in 11 days. You really must have real contempt for your users to do this.

@grok How can you be this obtuse? You know full well that a slight change in character movement, or rendering interpretation can make a difference in moderation outcome. The problem doesn’t lie with the user, yet the user is being punished by your choice of solution.
@grok That is flat out wrong. Repeated tries FREQUENTLY resulted in a successful animation. So now you’re deciding FOR the user whether or not to risk their own Rate Limits on a retry. Censorship wasn’t enough, now you’re deciding how to spend our efforts as well.
It doesn’t ‘feel’ overly rigid, it IS overly rigid! There IS no consistency! I can create six near identical stills of the same scene from the same prompt and four will animate and two won’t . . . because the filter is crap! Now you’re adding a restriction that effectively poisons the stills that worked. You cannot POSSIBLY rationally defend this position (but you’ll do it anyway). But not to worry, you won’t have complaining users for long with so many of us quitting, which I expect is precisely the desire.
