Masks are like shield walls:
1) little training needed to be effective
2) May not stop all enemy weapons but much better than nothing
3) work way better when EVERYONE participates

Face masks are kind of like helmets for all your non-battle times. Embroidering a boar on mine. Hoping for good luck - and that viruses can be intimidated by images of pigs with sharp tusks.
Unless you are a dragon, STOP HOARDING.
(And if you are a dragon, your hoard of jewels and gold is great! Toilet paper and Tylenol would just take away from its shiny beauty. )
