It’s the month of March and guess what that means…It’s tournament season! And both Missouri Tigers basketball teams have a spot in the postseason!
Well, kind of…
Missouri gets a much needed win to change the tone of it’s season after losing seven-straight SEC games heading into this matchup. Seton Hall was a solid opponent, and knocking off the Pirates means the Tigers will head to the second round of the WBIT to play another game.
The Tigers now have won three straight, and will sit with a respectable 7-4 record in conference play, 17-7 overall.
That’s all from me tonight, but thanks for tuning in!
Nowadays it is rare when Brendan Berger is able to report for @KCOUSports...but today I am back! Excited to be back in the hot seat reporting on Mizzou Athletics, and tonight it'll be a good one!
It's Missouri Men's Basketball vs. Texas A&M scheduled to kick off at 8:00 p.m.
That win for Missouri will serve well in the weeks ahead. A quality win, on the road, against one of the top teams in the SEC, is exactly what Dennis Gates and the squad needed after a rocky January.
