@MikeMumbelz@deityofnightt Exactly, no one is always right. It takes both people in the relationship to help each other grow and build something... together... That's what a relationship is.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee Nah, there's just a disconnect somewhere in our conversation.
We speaking past each other...
Thanks for the debate, have a good night 👍
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee Well I wasn't talking about the countries being broke..? What are you talking about? I was talking about what they spend their money on... And higher minimum wages just mean higher costs.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee You're finally getting the mechanism but my "theory" wasn't that they would fail...
It has it's trade offs like long wait times and high taxes...
but my point is it's unaffordable for the US because the US spends more on defense and subsidizes the defense of other nations.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee You don't want to make the connection because it ruins your world view buddy.... the stats don't lie, the tie is the amount of money you're willing or capable to spend as a country. Healthcare is incredibly expensive, so is defense. Pick on or the other... or go bankrupt.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee But you said I brought it up? When i only replied to your example... and I already answered your question. Multiple times. NATO spending is my source. It coincides with countries with universal Healthcare. That's who pays the least for their defense. Do your own research.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee No dude, you keep bringing up Canada. I brought up NATO. They all benefit from US's 70% contributions to the budget. And "thrive" is doing a lot of work there... I'd say mixed results at best.
@cenkuygur Iran funds the Houthis who have been attacking US ships and assets in the Red Sea for months. Proxy attacks are still attacks. Claiming Iran has clean hands because they didn't pull the trigger directly is like saying a mob boss is innocent because he never touched the victim.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee I gave you an answer multiple times you just don't want to accept it because it ruins your world view. I know Canada's Healthcare is different, I don't have to experience it. I'm strictly talking numbers and why it's more affordable some places than others.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee I don't know if you're being deliberately obtuse... Or genuinely can't hold the full conversation in your head simultaneously. You've been using your upbringing in Canada as if it means anything...
@CopenaceTyler@RMBee I can tell.. you have no idea about anything except your own personal experience and feelings. You can't follow a conversation without getting confused. I tried to explain it every way i possibly can.
@CopenaceTyler@KaneSilver13@RMBee I know all about it. Why it was formed is irrelevant. Where you lived is irrelevant. The facts are Canada doesn't pay the 2% minimum and the US over pays it's part. We subsidize their defense as well as other Nato countries. That's just fact. In fact it's the entire point.
