Last night, Berkeley Academy scholars showcased all they learned this summer to their families, friends, and teachers. The audience also celebrated the newest class of Berkeley Academy scholars, those rising into grade 9, and the Class of 2023.
As part of “Animals, Animals, Animals, and Habitats too!” at Berkeley Summer Programs, campers investigated different types of animals and their homes, created animal-themed art, and participated in fun activities. 🐅🐘🪿
During a three-week course at Berkeley Summer Programs, campers interested in ceramics learned basic skills, completed a variety of projects, and dove into the history and cultural significance of pottery.
Thanks to a partnership with @AdventHealth Carrollwood, students in the Berkeley Advanced Experiential Biology Institute got a chance to work with a full-body simulator. Students practiced detecting bodily sounds and experienced what it may be like to work with a real patient.
This summer, some of our campers became official Pokémon trainers! 💪 After a week of Pokémon trivia, "Name that Pokémon" identification games, Pokémon card battles, and more, campers left our Pokémon Battle Camp ready to “catch ’em all!”
This summer, students entering grades 2-5 took their first steps toward becoming violin virtuosos! 🎻 As part of Berkeley’s week-long violin camp, these young violinists played musical games, practiced rhythm patterns, and performed for their friends and families.
