“With the Bermuda Day Holiday period upon us, I wish to make it clear that previously scheduled roadside sobriety checkpoints will occur across the island from Thursday, 21st May at 5:00pm - Sunday, 24th May at 4:00am.”
The intention is to deter dangerous behaviour on our roads.

Shaquan Williams & Jasmin Smith Double Murder Investigation Ongoing
1st May 2026 marked 1 year since the tragic murders of Mr. Williams & Ms. Smith, who were both fatally shot at Legends Bar in Somerset.
