@Jive_Tukey@rodmaldaner@yegwave Well said. I grew up in BC with many different ethnicities, and work with many people from India. I have no issue with people of various backgrounds. My issue is when gov't pays them to come with incentives, and then Canadians cannot get jobs, especially our young people.
@ARMartin812@Girv0ne@PrimeVanguardX@SydneyLWatson I agree with you up to the point that you say the word conjures up that image. I had in-laws who used this word out of ignorance. and perhaps some racism, but it was not said in a manner that meant they wanted them hung. Rather that they did not like poc.
@____rehtaeh Jesus knew what He was talking about when He said that the closer we got to the end times, the more Christians would fall away. I just pray that I can be one who stays firm in my faith and be a better example. I am not perfect, but I am trying.
@AllistairTrent@MichelleLA1981 Not all boomers vote Liberal. I'm 66 and my husband is 68. We have no pension to fall back on, and we are trying to finish paying off our mortgage due to unexpected life problems. The wasteful spending of this gov't is disgusting.
@Dubsperspective@RealJamesWoods Canada, now a socialist nation. The gov't has so many bills in place that free speech is almost gone. They are now even trying to control social media, asking the platforms to create back doors so gov't can monitor acc'ts. The gov't has their hand in everything.
@luv1bun As a mother who breastfed in public, & in front of friends and family, it isn't about what's natural, it's about respecting others comfort levels. If someone was eating something you felt was gross, you'd ask them to eat in the other room, or you'd leave. It's about respect.
@PixelBibleBytes This was a test of faith and obedience. It was whether Abraham truly trusted God. It was also about Isaac's trust and obedience as well. Isaac willingly laid on the alter. Many men of God had children who turned their backs on God. God was showing both they could trust Him.
@Monica55dzrh After a friend of a friend of mine almost died from a simple scratch from his dog's tooth. I have become very wary of dogs being allowed to be in grocery areas and in carts as well.
@CheriDiNovo 49 years later, the governments of Europe are still subsidizing their rail because only 10% of the population uses rail. In ALL OF CANADA, only 1% of the population use the rail.
@lingosteve@rupasubramanya Yesterday, only 1% of ALL CANADIANS currently use any rail service. Europe, after 49 years is still supplementing theirs and only 10% of the populated it.
@JeffreyLuscombe I'm not against progress, but when Europe, after 49 years of operating is still supplementing their High Speed Trail, and only 10% of the population uses it, I can't imagine how a country, with only 1% of the population currently using rail, is going to keep paying for this.
@DerrickEvans4WV He was trying to grab the suitcase (why does he have a suitcase?) from under the horse. Stupid move. Neither the horse or rider knew what he was doing. Both reacted to a possible threat.
@RiotRoger@ScottBornAgain Sexual assault has a very different psychological affect than a regular assault, even for a man. Someone comes up to you on the street and slugs you, you instantly react. A sexual assult is different. The shock factor is overwhelming and hard to process in an instant.
