Officers responded to a fight at Sandia High School that may have involved a gun. There are no reports of shots fired and no reports of injuries. Officers are conducting a walk-through of the school to ensure everyone is safe. Students are sheltering in place.
On Sunday, Sept. 11, @BerncoFire will conduct their second annual “Fallen Firefighters 9/11 Memorial.” This event marks the 21st anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took place on September 11th, 2001. /1
The memorial will be consist of BCFD & @BCSONM's Honor Guard standing watch over 100 sets of Firefighter bunker gear for a total of 343 minutes.

People near New Mexico’s burn scar areas are at risk of flash-flooding. Monitor your weather radio and the daily weather forecast for rain, especially if you are near or downhill from burn scars.
The ceremony is open to the public and all who wish to pay their respects and honor the life of Lt. King may do so.
For those who are unable to attend, they will also be livestreaming the ceremony on their social media platforms Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Twitch.
On Monday, Aug. 1, @BerncoFire will have a celebration of life ceremony for Lieutenant Matthew King, who served aboard Metro 2 on July 16.
The ceremony will take place at 11:30a.m. inside Tingley Coliseum at the Expo New Mexico Fairgrounds, and doors will open at 10:30a.m.
