From Rio de Janeiro to Los Angeles. Software Engineer that loves algorithms, data structures, JavaScript, game development and a little about everything.
Today I started reading the book "Designing Data-Intensive Applications. The Big Ideas Behind Reliable, Scalable, and Maintainable Systems".
It is a terrific book! The missing knowledge about system architecture for processing and storing data.
This Unity Event Manager script helped me to decouple and simplify my Unity game architecture drastically. It's never been so easy to compose a game through message passing rather than direct data sharing 😌

1. This is a really fun exercise!
2. If you're an indie dev making your first pixel art platformer or Metroidvania, consider that smooth animations are insanely time-intensive and much less important than overall art style to potential players. And SMW still looks beautiful imo!
