Given that there's such high demand for it, this seems like the sort of thing that individual social media platforms could do without needing any agreement, no?
In which case, the problem is that social media is not competitive enough.
So the _real_ institutional problem is figuring out how to make social media more competitive.
My best answer is adversarial interoperability. Someone should go make an alt client for these platforms that filters out bots (maybe also filter out nazis and auto-replace them with ideologies that are funnier), put in the work to maintain it even in the face of the platforms trying to block it, if they shut down APIs, use LLMs to simulate mouse clicks, if it violates terms of service base yourself in a better jurisdiction, etc. Seems like something that many people would pay $30/month for.
best team to join if you want to innovate on:
* efficiency: intelligence per watt/ mass
* scale: total harnessed energy/ matter
max(total integrated intelligence) from earth to the stars
A massive shoutout to the 33 million of you who tuned in to support me, Jake, and everyone on the undercard, and thank you to those who prayed for me during fight week 🙏🏾
Enjoy the festive break if you’re celebrating, and have a blessed week if you’re not. Big things coming in the New Year, so stay tuned.
We are all one under God’s eyes.
God bless. Rastafari 👊🏾
Aave is still in the best position of any DeFi protocol to be the open-sourced bank of the internet. Seemlessly open to providing liquidity for 8 billion people.
But tradfi is coming and they will eat every bite of that pie if given the opportunity. The longer this internal strife continues to worse off both parties are. Get to the table and hash out a solution both sides can live with. There is trillions of dollars on the line.
THE RISKS
What could go wrong?
🔹 Margin Dilution: AI servers have expensive "pass-through" costs (Nvidia chips).
🔹 Capex Burn: They spent NT$112B in 9 months on new factories.
If the "AI Bubble" bursts, they are left with massive, empty server plants.
