Richard Tice, before you start publicly naming and shaming Labour and Green Party councillors over assault allegations, perhaps you should take a closer look at Reform UK's own record.
James McMurdock, a Reform MP, was convicted of assaulting his former girlfriend, kicking her repeatedly. He received a custodial sentence. Yet you publicly defended him and said he met Reform's vetting standards.
Emma Beck, a Reform councillor, was convicted of assault after pushing a woman in her sixties to the ground. Reform subsequently reported that she had appealed.
Lawrence Davies, a former Reform councillor, was reported to have been charged with assaulting a woman and perverting the course of justice.
Dan Thomas, Reform's former Welsh leader, was arrested on suspicion of assault and controlling or coercive behaviour. He denied wrongdoing and was released on bail.
Amanda Clare, another Reform councillor, was charged with assault following an incident at a Pride event. Those charges were subsequently dropped.
Sam Journet, a Reform councillor, was arrested following allegations including common assault. Police subsequently took no further action.
Let's be absolutely clear. An arrest is not a conviction, allegations are not proof of guilt, and charges that have been dropped must be acknowledged. That principle applies to every political party.
But here's the question, Richard. Why are you so eager to publicise allegations involving Labour and the Greens when your own party has faced similar scrutiny?
More importantly, why did you defend a Reform MP with an actual assault conviction while using allegations against political opponents to attack their parties?
If violence and criminal conduct are unacceptable, that standard must apply equally to everyone, including Reform UK.
Political accountability should be based on evidence and consistent principles, not selective outrage.
So, Richard, will you apply the same scrutiny to your own party, or is accountability only something you demand from your political opponents?
This is why Richard Tice was panicking and made a preemptive statement.
An undercover ITV investigation found multiple Reform councillors and candidates being racist, misogynistic, and Islamophobic.
The programme airs on ITV1 this Sunday at 10:20 pm.
BREAKING: Shocking new video obtained by the Wall Street Journal shows Ken Paxton partying in Dubai with his mistress and two criminal fugitives. This guy is legitimately a villain.
When the fuck will people wake up to the reality that Reform are traitors compromised by Russia? Vote Leave was co-opted and a former Reform leader is in jail for taking Russian bribes for fucks sake. They’re clearly inciting division and violence. It’s cartoonishly obvious.
Far-right individuals from Chelmsley Wood are stopping Black and Brown men from walking in parks, claiming that only women, children and dog walkers are allowed. They are also forcing them to hand over ID showing their home addresses.
@I_amMukhtar Why doesn’t@TRobinsonNewEra report on white people like Michael Gove’s ex girlfriend having images on her phone and computer but is always targeting people of colour?
🔥BOMBSHELL🔥
We have submitted an FOI/Subject Access request on whether 'Lord' Gove used his position to get his girlfriend Lola Salem a full parliamentary pass that she used to conduct tours of parliament.
Does she still have the pass after the charges brought against her?
