James Madison described the powers of the federal government as “few and defined” and those reserved to the states as “numerous and indefinite.”

We’ve been dangerously drifting from that understanding since the 1930s.

The drift has been most evident in areas now most fraught with waste, fraud, and abuse.

If we honored the Constitution’s limits on federal power, there’d be very little waste, fraud, and abuse in our national government.

Unrealized gains tax for Gen-Z:

You buy a Pokémon card for $50.

Someone offers you $500 for it. You say no. You love that card. You're keeping it.

The government says: "Cool, but that card is worth $500 now. You owe us $100 in taxes."
You: "…I didn't sell it."

Government: "Don't care. Pay up."

You don't have $100 lying around. So you're forced to sell the card you love just to pay a tax on money you never received.

Next month? That card drops back to $50.

Your card is gone. Your money is gone. And the government shrugs.

That's a wealth tax on unrealized gains. They don't pay you back the tax...

Now picture this.

Your mom calls you crying. She has to sell the house she raised you in. Not because she can't afford it. She's lived there 30 years. It's paid off.

But some website says it's worth more now and the government says she owes $15,000 she doesn't have.

So she sells your childhood home. The kitchen where she made you breakfast. The doorframe where she marked your height every birthday.

Gone.

To pay a tax on money that was never real.

Now picture the opposite.

Your dad put everything into his small business. For 20 years he built it from nothing. One year the business is "valued" at $2 million on paper. He owes a massive tax bill. He empties his savings. Sells his truck. Borrows money. Pays it.

Next year the market crashes. His business is worth $200,000.

He lost everything to pay a tax on a number that doesn't exist anymore.

Does the government give him his money back?
No.

Does the government give him his truck back?
No.

Does the government care?
No.

They sold this idea as "taxing billionaires." But billionaires have armies of lawyers, offshore accounts, and trusts. They'll be fine.

You know who won't be fine? Your mom. Your dad. Your neighbor with a small business. The farmer down the road who's had the same land for four generations and now has to sell it because dirt got expensive.

You're not taxing wealth. You're taxing people for owning things.

It's like getting a parking ticket for a car you might drive somewhere someday.

They want you to own nothing and be happy. To fund the fraud, waste and abuse of the welfare state they created.

There is enough money. More tax isn't needed. It's all a lie. But you've been gaslit into believing this is a rich vs poor debate.

Here’s who can help you bink Week 11 🏆

JAMEIS WINSTON ($4,600)

Famous Jameis is back! What a glorious day it is when Winston will be getting a start.

The most fun QB in the league returns, whether it be throwing four touchdowns, throwing four picks, or doing both, Winston will entertain on Sundays.

We know what Winston is at this point. He’s a high upside, zero floor QB. That’s a lot better for our game than in real life, which is why he has turned into a journeyman in the NFL, but that doesn’t matter to us!

The only issue is that the Giants are ill-equipped for Jameis’ game, and he has a tough matchup. I don’t care, I believe in Jameis, and he’ll be featured on one of my tighter builds.

JACOBY BRISSETT ($4,900)

Brissett has been a tangible upgrade from Murray and has put up over 20 DK points in all four of his starts.

Curiously, his price hasn’t risen above $5,000 despite his consistency. Brissett has a nice floor, and he hasn’t hit for a true ceiling game.

I don’t see any reason his price shouldn’t be around $1,000 higher, and when you pair him with Wilson, you can basically do whatever you want with the rest of your roster. I’m going to have Brissett leading one of my tighter builds.

MICHAEL WILSON ($3,800)

Wilson is the “value of the week” since he should serve as the Cardinals number 1 WR with Harrison ruled out.

There is nothing wrong with playing Wilson, but he’s going to be very popular, and his most likely outcome is a moderate game.

I’m going to use Wilson where his salary makes sense, but I also won’t be afraid to leave him off a few of my tighter builds.

JALIN HYATT ($3,000)

This one is speculative, but with Darius Slayton ruled out, someone must step into the deep threat role. There really isn’t anyone else on the Giants roster, and we all know how Winston likes to play.

Hyatt is going to be unowned, and I wouldn’t use him in small fields, but in something like the Milly Maker, he could be the guy you need if he catches a long touchdown. He’s worth a shot in bigger tournaments.

DALTON SCHULTZ ($3,900)

Schultz has seen 11 and 8 targets in the past two weeks, and it looks like Mills is the type of QB who leans on his TE.

TE looks thin this week, with McBride standing out at the top, and not much else after him.

If not playing McBride, it makes sense to save money at the position, and Schultz is too cheap for the possibility that he sees 7-9 targets.

Bills are insistent on featuring Cook rather than Superhuman Josh Allen. Would be chalk if 1K cheaper, but he’s priced for ceiling — and I’m willing to pay at low ownership.

2. TRAVIS ETIENNE JR. // 11%

Chargers rank 29th in DVOA against tight ends. Too bad Etienne plays running back. 🙁

3. WOODY MARKS // 5%

Woody should see an increased workload despite repeatedly telling trainers there’s a snake in his boot.

WIDE RECEIVER

4. EMEKA EGBUKA // 7%

Weather concerns may be enough to keep his ownership in check. Buffalo plans to shadow him, but shadows usually just lie flat on the ground and look all stretched out and weird.

5. TEE HIGGINS // 7%

Put up 36 last week, and this matchup is somehow better. That’s nuts. Play him alongside Elijah Higgins and Jayden Higgins and people will be like, “WTF?”

6. JORDAN ADDISON // 5%

J.J. McCarthy will be pretty chalky for a dude who’s literally never played well. But stacking him with Addison and Jalen Nailor will be under-owned compared to the potential cost-considered ceiling.

7. GREG DORTCH // 5%

Dude is 5’7″, 180 pounds. You know how no one watches hockey because they can’t see the puck? Well, Greg Dortch is the puck.

TIGHT END

8. THEO JOHNSON // 7%

No Slayton. Wan’Dale is chalk. Embrace the Jameis.

9. HAROLD FANNIN JR. // 4%

Baltimore’s getting some bodies back on defense, but they’ve still got a ways to climb from 27th in DVOA against the position.

10. JONNU SMITH // 6%

Jonnu is a riddle wrapped in an enigma. Hard to get him right, but any tight end facing Cincinnati is a guess worth taking.

11. PAT FREIERMUTH // 3%
