Alan Turing was sentenced to chemical castration in 1952 for being gay.
In 2026, MPs have voted to carry out the same punishment on vulnerable children as young as 11 to keep trans paramilitaries happy.
SHAME ON EVERY MP responsible for sending gay kids to the gender abattoirs!
🚨The government just voted down an attempt by the Conservative Party to cancel the puberty blockers trial.
Make no mistake about it, Labour are putting virtue signalling and ideology before the wellbeing of our most vulnerable children.
They bring shame upon our nation.
Revisiting this thread to show why the prison case matters so much.
Also, to put to bed the lie that these are vulnerable inmates.

This whole thread is brilliant. But this is the single most extraordinary stat: if women committed serious offences at the same rate as men who ID as women do (using Scottish figs), more than 10,000 women would be in jail for such crimes. In reality there are just 77.
Fantastic read from @PaulKnaggs
"the political damage...is measured in every working-class woman who watches Labour MPs sign a motion against the legal clarity she has waited years for, and draws the obvious conclusion. It is measured in every constituency where the word ‘Labour’ no longer carries the meaning it was intended to carry. The party that was built to represent the interests of those with the least power in society has, on this question, positioned itself against the sex-based protections of half the population."

A garden that welcomes butterflies has to welcome caterpillars first. The two cannot be separated — and once you know which caterpillar becomes which butterfly, finding chewed leaves feels rather different. 🦋
Twelve species you are likely to encounter in Britain, and the plants their caterpillars need:
Red admiral: caterpillars feed exclusively on stinging nettles. A patch of nettles in a sheltered corner is the single most effective thing you can do for this butterfly.
Painted lady: thistles and nettles. A regular migrant visitor that cannot be bred for without these.
Small tortoiseshell: stinging nettles, in communal groups. One of Britain's most familiar garden butterflies.
Peacock: stinging nettles. Overwinters as an adult in outbuildings and sheds — you may find one behind a board in March.
Comma: nettles, hops, and elm. Extraordinary ragged wing edge makes it unmistakeable.
Brimstone: buckthorn (Rhamnus cathartica) and alder buckthorn — the only caterpillar host plants. No buckthorn, no brimstone.
Large white: brassicas and nasturtiums. The familiar cabbage caterpillar — though a nasturtium trap crop draws them away from vegetables.
Orange tip: garlic mustard and lady's smock. A spring butterfly that appears briefly in April and May.
Swallowtail: milk parsley (Peucedanum palustre) — the British subspecies is restricted to the Norfolk Broads. Extraordinarily rare.
Silver-washed fritillary: common dog violet in woodland rides. Britain's largest fritillary.
Clouded yellow: clover and lucerne. A migrant, more numerous in warm summers.
Holly blue: holly berries (spring brood) and ivy berries (summer brood). The small blue butterfly of gardens.
A nettle patch, a clump of garlic mustard, some buckthorn — these are worth more to British butterflies than any insectary flower mix alone.
New Green MSP has a motion calling for a ban on ‘conversion practices’. This is no more than an attempt to criminalise gender critical voices. Parents who question a child seeking to transition risk a prison sentence. No civilised society should accept this nonsense
Listen to her. She breaks down the con game. Even if you think you know it, this is an excellent analysis. Kudos MJ! It helps to be able to label the con.
BREAKING from @Jerusalem_Post: A Palestinian man from Gaza has formally demanded that the International Criminal Court investigate 14 Hamas leaders for crimes committed against Palestinians.
The man lost his wife, children, and other family members during the war in Gaza. He argues that if Hamas had not committed war crimes against Palestinians, particularly the crime of using civilians as human shields, his family and countless other Gazans would still be alive.
War crimes and crimes against humanity listed in the submission include using civilians as human shields, attacking civilians, causing great suffering, destruction of property, excessive incidental death, injury, or damage, conscripting children, murder, extermination, torture, persecution, and more.
The Hamas leaders named in the submission are Izz al-Din al-Haddad, Khaled Mashaal, Mahmoud al-Zahar, Mohammed Odeh, Muhannad Rajab, Khalil al-Hayya, Mousa Abu Marzook, Ghazi Hamad, Izzat al-Rishq, Fathi Hamad, Nizar Awadallah, Husam Badran, Zaher Jabarin, and Basem Naim.
For decades, innocent Palestinians have paid the price for Hamas's genocidal war against Israel. They deserve justice.
The submission was filed on behalf of the Gazan man by American attorneys @ElliotMalin and Eli Rosenbaum and French attorney @sarah_scialom.

Who doesn’t adore a Bumblebee. Keep a look out for these furry pals. Grow plants that they love, create habitats that feel like home and they will reward you with their beautiful array of stripe jumpers. 💚
This from Jess Phillips’s resignation letter is devastating for the prime minister
“Over a year ago I presented solutions, long worked on by brilliant civil servants that would end the ability for children in the UK to take naked images of themselves. 91% of online child sex abuse is self-generated by children groomed, tricked and exploited in to abuse. The technology exists to stop children being able to take naked images of themselves. We could make this possible on every phone and device in the country. We could stop this abuse. It has taken me a year to get you to agree to even threaten to legislate in this space. Not legislate, just threaten. This is the definition of incremental change. Nothing bold about it. The announcement was meant to be in March, I'm still on a promise this will happen in June, I've given up believing it. How many children were left without a safety net in the time we dilly dallied and worried about tech bosses?
This is just one example.”
@edinhelp Hi, can we report more vandalism, please? Corner of Maxwell St and Morningside Rd, 5 different poles covered in this thick tape. Can you arrange for it to be removed please (it's really difficult). Thank you
