If the US owned both Alaska & Greenland, the current partnership with Canada would give it most of the control. If Canada became part of the US, no one could oppose them in the Northwest Passage, and they would lay claim to all the oil & minerals there.
I haven't seen anybody express what Trump really wants with Panama, Greenland & Canada--control of ALL shipping between Europe & Asia. Panama is the best route, but ice melt is making the Northwest Passage a viable alternative. To be continued...
@PaulMitchell_AB @URSoulPowerful As I mentioned above, the WHO will still have the ultimate say as long as we belong to their organization. Canada needs to deny them their desire to monopolize pandemic responses by voting NO to their proposal.
@URSoulPowerful @PaulMitchell_AB Yes, if they get their way about the new policy they proposed to have complete control over pandemic responses in all countries. I asked a few MP's about Canada's vote on this, but nobody answered. I hope it's not too late. The UK voted NO
@DanFreemanShow@truckdriverpleb@TheRealKeean Of course you're right about American MIC profiting from the war (even though most American people don't understand that). However, don't underestimate the arrogance of Putin. I thought the same about NATO, but I don't think that explains his grabbing Crimea. That's his excuse.
@wes4_crypto@truckdriverpleb@TheRealKeean What evidence do you have of that? I've heard other concerns about Ukraine, but not that. Unless you can provide solid proof, I think you're probably a Russian bot trying to sow discord in the west.
@DanFreemanShow@truckdriverpleb@TheRealKeean The proxy war for whom? For western democracies, I think. I don't want Russia to conquer Ukraine & then decide to keep expanding. We're providing arms and funding, but no countries are sending soldiers to the battlefield. Be glad the Ukrainians are doing that themselves.
@DanPietsch@TheRealKeean I'm sure they do, but when the situation is too dire, they often get firefighters from other places (usually other provinces) to help out. But I think you're right-those are 2 different issues, and firefighting isn't normally a federal concern.
@shrewddudescast@TheRealKeean Wouldn't that depend on how close it got? I'm not being confrontational; I really don't know. I thought if the side of the bullet barely touched his ear as it whizzed past, it might not do much damage.
@TheRealKeean I think he was afraid he might lose, & if so, this would be a great way to get more votes. If he did orchestrate it, I don't think he expected any shots to come near him. Why was the shooter killed instead of being injured, captured & questioned?
@TheRealKeean Because now we will never know his true motives and if anyone else was involved. Also because i don't believe in killing if there is another option.
What upsets me is that there is almost no mention of the person killed & those seriously injured. All anyone seems to care about is who to blame for the "assassination attempt" of the narcissistic grifter who bullied his way to the top, and who only got a little nick on his ear.
