Miss when people of different cultures actually taught Sam and Dean things instead of them just going “so get this” and they poorly explain what they just read and everything have very specific answers and solutions,, like I hate when magic and the occult have no air of mystery

Love that guy but he should of stayed mysterious and less available to them beyond just “sorry I was busy in heaven,, doing something” and I don’t mean even in a less screen time way just like at a certain point it made things too easy and we didn’t see them being as creative
I miss early supernatural where they use analog technology that’s outdated and shows how they grew up and when they learned to do stuff,, like I loved them using a metal detector to find the underground HH Holmes dungeon instead in later seasons Cas would just be like I sense it
