Albertans have already tried sending Ottawa a message.
In 2021, 61.7% voted to remove equalization from the Constitution. Ottawa and the other premiers ignored it. Nothing changed.
That is the difference between symbolism and leverage.
The other referendum questions may express Alberta’s frustration, but they do not bind Ottawa to act.
An independence referendum is different. It forces Canada to confront Alberta’s unfair treatment directly.
This vote should not be about party labels or personalities. It should be about whether Albertans have enough say over the decisions that shape our jobs, homes, services, and future.
Get informed. Compare the claims. Then vote.
CANADA IS IN A RECESSION.
And somehow there are not riots in the streets over this.
WHAT IS IT ACTUALLY GOING TO TAKE FOR CANADIANS TO DEMAND CHANGE?
(What the fuck was in that vaccine???)
The rupture is in our incompetent liberal government that has been spending an enormous amounts of money that we just don’t have!!!
This does not include the substantial luxury spending Mark Carney directs toward himself his frequent trips, first-class accommodations, and gourmet meals which are already estimated to run into the millions of dollars!
CANADA IS IN RECESSION.
HERE'S WHAT LIBERALS SPENT
OUR MONEY ON:
This is a US story today. 🇺🇸
But Canada has its own international student and TFW credential fraud epidemic that nobody in legacy media wants to talk about.
Our kids are being priced out of their own job market too. 🇨🇦

What I have been saying all along
@MarkJCarney never intended there to be any new pipeline. He got his agreement for increasing carbon taxes, without intending to ever give anything in return.
Production CEO’s did not grow massively successful corporations by being gullible and careless with shareholder capital.
@ABDanielleSmith was either bamboozled or she is complicit with Carney in lying to Albertans. It’s one or the other.
An independent Alberta will have strong effective leverage, that we never had as a province in Canada
‼️NEW POLLING
Only 31% of Canadians aged 18 to 29 now believe the country is headed in the right direction
Carney's approval ratings plummet 12 points in this group, and 7% for all groups -Abacus Data
This is Bill C-9 fallout. I told you.
Imagine going on social media and bragging about how many of your constituents don’t earn enough so they need government handouts!? 🤦🏻♂️
Canada is a race to the bottom at this point.
A lot of Americans are suddenly paying attention to Alberta.
Here are a few quick facts about the place aiming to become North America’s newest independent nation.

🇨🇦 The Netflix tax raised costs for Canadians and drove production elsewhere.
South Park called it. Ottawa ignored it.
Cartman understood Canadian media policy better than the CRTC. 😂

The US State Department and CBC covered the same murder.
One called it civilizational decline.
One called it a far-right talking point.
Guess which one gets $1.4 billion a year from Canadian taxpayers.
🇨🇦 Canada has never been invaded, bombed, or sanctioned.
We have the world’s largest freshwater supply, third largest oil reserves, and unlimited arable land.
We created our own problems entirely through governance.
No excuses left. 🇨🇦📉

While Canadians are struggling with high cost of living, high food Inflation, only g20 in a RECESSION, taxed to the MAX, remember that A LOT of our money flows outside of Canada on an annual basis 👀
Who’s coming to help Canadians now. We should get our taxes back
I talked to my son this morning and he couldn't stop talking about the cost of food and property taxes.
"Dad, one cantaloupe is $15, a T-bone steak is $48 bucks, and my property taxes in Edmonton have been double dipped with a huge property assessment increase PLUS a 7% mill rate increase, and it's going up for the next 3 years. I just can't afford that anymore."
When Albertans can no longer afford our own beef, this is the sign that there needs to be a change to make Albertans First.
Taxes are too high, municipal governments think they have a license to print money with property taxes, inflation is out of control, and governments continue to spend money we don't have, even our current provincial government, putting Albertans last in line.
Enough is enough.
We should have the highest standard of living on planet earth on a per capita basis with the resources we have and such a low population overall.
It's time to turn the tide and put an Alberta First team and vision in place in our own Alberta government vs the status quo.
Albertans are tired of big claims to get elected then watching continued unfulfilled promises as Ottawa-First creeps in time after time.
First, it was Kenney. Now it's Danielle Smith who gave it her best shot and respect her for that but got duped by Ottawa with an MOU that needs to be canceled.
A Leadership Review sets the agenda for the UCP members and all Albertans to re-direct our efforts to what is tangible delivery of results for Albertans vs the Ottawa-First compromised agenda.

Ontario teachers publicly ridicule Elon Musk and Donald Trump while privately they invest in Musk's companies. The Ontario teachers pension is now set to make $11 billion from Space X.
Hypocritical, elbows up assholes.

Do you see the contradiction?

Under @stephenharper, tax incentives were implemented to encourage parents to put their kids in *SPORTS.* After 11 years, the Liberala are *gleefully* celebrating giving people some of their tax dollars back so they can *EAT.*
Think about that.
