The Maharashtra Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has suspended the food-business licences of four Domino’s Pizza outlets operated by Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. following inspections that found multiple food-safety and hygiene violations.

The affected outlets are in Vile Parle West, Borivali West and R-City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai, and Malakapour, Karad, Satara. Reported deficiencies included inadequate hygiene and sanitation, pest-control issues, improper food storage and temperature monitoring, lack of segregation between raw and ready-to-eat foods, and incomplete food-safety records.

The action was taken under the Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses) Regulations, 2011.

Woman Records Reckless Rent-a-Car Driver Through Smart Glasses in Assagao

A woman travelling behind a rent-a-car in Assagao recorded an alleged case of reckless driving using camera-enabled glasses.

According to preliminary information, the driver was allegedly consuming alcohol inside the vehicle and later threw the can out of the moving car. He was also reportedly driving dangerously and narrowly avoided hitting a taxi.

The woman, who was following the vehicle, captured the entire incident through her glasses. The footage is expected to help establish the sequence of events.
