I trust our leaders to help make this transition seamless for the posterity of our program’s success. Tonight I announced my resignation as Berwick Boy’s Volleyball coach. I’ll still be there supporting in every way I can. But I’ll get to be a mom. And that feels utterly amazing.
There are truly only two things I ever knew without a shadow of a doubt that I wanted to be…first, a mom. Second, a coach. And many times I’ve found balancing both feels impossible. When I first took over the Berwick boy’s volleyball team in 2015, it was meant to be temporary.
This program came into my life and taught myself and my children valuable lessons. But now conflicts between coaching and family are so overwhelming my heart is settled and knows it’s time to pass the tradition of loving Berwick volleyball along to someone with the right energy.
When your team comes together through adversity and fights for each other, big things happen. Very proud of the mental toughness, composure, and most definitely the fight my guy showed tonight. On to the next!
Striving to get my team to realize the power they hold: the power to destroy their opponent as well as the power to destroy themselves.
When they figure this out, we won’t just be surviving games, we will be dominating games.
The calm before the storm.
2024 Berwick Boys VB season begins tomorrow!!
Special shout-out to my own boys for being my crew. Tapping lines, pumping balls, cleaning the whiteboard without a single complaint. They are the best!
That’s a wrap on the regular season! Varsity ends the season 15-2 (our only losses coming from state ranked teams) and JV 16-1.
Next Wednesday (October 25th) we will be hosting our District 2 Quarterfinal match in our gym. Come see us and get loud!!
Number 1 and 2 ranked teams facing each other tomorrow in Berwick’s gym! We love competition and good volleyball. We love the chance to grow. We love a challenge. 💪
Come check it out! JV at 5 and Varsity to follow.
HUDL is great. But finding ways for IMMEDIATE review and implementation is priceless. Look at this collaboration. Heads together. Communicating. Learning. Growing. Seeking information like grown women ready to take on the world. Too far? I think not.
