Happy NAIDOC week to everyone except organisations and businesses who ask and expect First Nations people to organise, promote and educate for free, and on top of their usual work loads x
My partner is a professional cricketer and hated netball. Since explaining the rules and tactical set ups, they're obsessed. While seeing the entertainment value, she can understand why OG fans hate the 2 point shot and so *plot twist* she hates it now too #webothhate2020s
@YaThinkN Thanks kinda my point, DW is an exception and isn't really representative of pathway athletes.
My ankle was dislocated and put back into place at Nissan. No breaks or ligament damage surprinslgy but still sore. TY for asking 😃
I'm so glad we finally have an (identified) Aboriginal woman in the diamonds. This however, does mean our pathways are magically fixed. If anything, I think Donnells journey to an SSN contract outlines just how far we have to go in supporting our First Nation's athletes
Would also like to point out that recently there were 3 players (Mimi, Wallam & Coffey) featured in a week, but equally special to see Ali Tucker- Munro as assistant coach for Giants (a 1st?). Pathway development for coaches, umpires bench officials etc are important too 👍🏽
