On December 30, Besch Cannes Auction will disperse two major collections, including an exceptional example of 20th-century French decorative arts: the complete furnishings of a Cannes apartment preserved exactly as it was created by Jules Leleu.

Kept intact since the 1950s, the interior showcases the decorator’s hallmark style — clean lines, balanced volumes, and the refined use of noble materials. Designed as a coherent whole, each element — tables, mirrors, seating, lighting — forms part of a unified composition, true to Leleu’s vision of total design.
