Remembering businesswoman Florence and her husband Dr Fabian Ribeiro who were assassinated on this day in 1986 for their work of exposing apartheid brutality and for assisting young activists. Florence was Zondeni Sobukwe's sister. Their killers were granted amnesty in 1999.
A lot of men are not being ‘disrespected’ in their relationship, they are just being accurately confronted for the first time in their life.
If every time she names a pattern you hear it as an attack, you will keep turning ordinary feedback into destructive arguments. It is easier to label her as ‘disrespectful’ than is it to admit you have never learned how to be in a relationship where your comfort is not the main priority.

On this day in 1986, anti-apartheid activists Dr Fabian Ribeiro and his wife Florence Ribeiros (Mathe) were gunned down in their courtyard. The Truth and Reconciliation Commission found that they were killed by a joint operation by South African Special Forces and the Northern Transvaal Security Branch. Applicants for amnesty claimed that "the Ribeiros were targeted because Dr Ribeiro provided medical assistance to people injured in security force action and allegedly provided financial assistance to those wishing to leave the country," but were unable to provide one specific case of support. Congratulations to @CyrilRamaphosa on a successful G20 Summit — the first on African soil.
We just launched talks on an investment protection agreement to boost business between our nations, and create more opportunities for Canadians and South Africans, together.
Congratulations to my dear friend @CyrilRamaphosa and his team for this G20 Summit, the first ever on the African continent. Hand in hand as we look ahead to the French G7 Presidency!
In Soweto, following South Africa’s G20 Summit, I laid a wreath at the Hector Pieterson Museum in memory of those killed during the 1976 Soweto Uprisings.
I say this an atheist:
Hating a woman who has committed her life to being anti-genocide and creating wholesome content for children is truly the most obvious sign of a demonic spirit
