March 24th, Blake Splawn was named to Charlotte Observer's BIG5 Top Baseball Performers for his performance in his game the day before.
March 30th, Caleb Summey was recognized by Charlotte Observer's BIG5 Top BaseballPerformers yesterday for his play in the game that week.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association in partnership with the United States Marines, awarded Ian Alexander and Josiah Coleman High School Scholar All-American.

Randall Pettus made The All Observer Basketball 2nd Team. Randall was the only player from our surrounding area to make this team. This is a great accomplishment for our Basketball Program, Bessemer City High School, and Community. Congratulations, Randall!

The Impact Club and SRO Thompson collected 156 Easter Buckets Candy and Toys for the kindergarten class of Bessemer City Primary School. This is our second year working on this project. All proceeds were gather through donations from the community, the staff and BCHS students.

Randall Pettus is 1of 10 players selected from North Carolina to play in The Carolinas’ All Star Basketball Classic. He will play in the NC vs SC game in Wilmington on Saturday, March 25th at Hoggard High School. Congratulations Randall! We are proud of you!
