Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada spoke about the contradictions of human nature:
“Some people dream of having a swimming pool at home, while those who have one hardly ever use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a profound sense of loss, while others often complain about their living relatives. Those without a partner long for one, while those who have one often don't appreciate it. The hungry would give anything for a meal, while the satiated complain about the taste of their food. Those without a car dream of owning one, while those who have a car are always looking for a better one.”
The key to happiness is gratitude: truly seeing and appreciating what we already have, and understanding that somewhere, someone would give anything for what we take for granted.
There is a deep, unshakable peace that comes when a man truly understands that his life is not sustained by his own strength, but by the faithfulness of God.
The scripture says, “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” This is not a motivational quote—it is a covenant promise.
God did not say He will supply some of your needs. He did not say He will supply when the economy is good. He did not say He will supply when you deserve it.
He said He shall supply ALL your needs.
There is rest in knowing that the One who created you is fully aware of what you require to live. Before the hunger comes, He already made provision. Before the need arises, heaven has already responded.
He knows you need food. He knows you need shelter. He knows you need clothing. He knows the silent desires you have not even spoken to anyone about.
And yet, many believers still live in anxiety… as if God is unaware, as if heaven is confused about their situation.
In The Bible, in the book of Gospel of Matthew, Jesus speaks and says, “Do not worry about tomorrow…”
Why would He say that?
Because worry is a sign that you have shifted your focus from God’s ability to your limitation.
Worry says: “I don’t know how this will work out.”
Faith says: “God already knows—and He has made a way.”
When you worry about tomorrow, you are trying to carry a burden that God never designed for you. Tomorrow is not in your hands—it is in God’s hands.
And then the Psalmist declares in the book of Book of Psalms, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
Notice the confidence in that statement.
It doesn’t say: “I might not lack…” “I hope I will not lack…”
It says: I SHALL NOT WANT.
Why?
Because when the Lord becomes your Shepherd, lack loses its authority over your life.
A shepherd takes responsibility for the sheep. The sheep does not struggle to feed itself—it is led. The sheep does not fight for protection—it is covered. The sheep does not stress about tomorrow—it follows.
Many people are tired not because life is hard, but because they have refused to let God lead them.
When God is truly your Shepherd, provision becomes your portion.
Listen carefully: God is not intimidated by your needs. Your bills do not scare Him. Your situation is not too complicated for Him.
If He could feed thousands with five loaves and two fish… If He could bring water out of a rock… If He could send ravens to feed a prophet…
Then your situation is not impossible.
What you need is not more anxiety. What you need is deeper trust.
Lift your eyes from the problem and fix them on God.
He is your source—not your job. He is your provider—not your connections. He is your sustainer—not your effort.
And when this truth settles in your spirit, peace will flood your heart in a way that no circumstance can shake.
Tonight, rest in this assurance: God sees you. God knows you. God cares for you. And God will provide for you.
You will not lack. You will not be stranded. You will not be forgotten.
Everything you need—He will supply.
Someone, wherever you are, lift your voice and declare it with faith:
HALLELUJAH! 🙏
I thought the reporters traveling with Kamala might be a little lonely given that she never answers questions from them, so I figured I’d come say hello and check out my new plane while I was at it.
