Sydney Sweeney says Cassie and Nate were “really good friends” on #Euphoria, but “probably not” meant to be husband and wife:
"Do I think she loved Nate in her own way? Yes. Do I think that it was for the right reasons? Yes and no. She was so deep into it, she didn’t know how to get out. She says it to Maddy — when they meet by the pool, she had to justify everything to herself, and I don’t think she wanted to even think about the idea that maybe they aren’t actually in love. So there’s a lot of layers to that."

Sydney Sweeney says “I don’t think I’ll ever be satisfied” with Cassie’s ending on #Euphoria:
"I know there is more to tell of Cassie’s story. But I feel that way about so many of my projects. 'Everything Sucks!' was a one-season show that I did when I was 18 years old, and sometimes I wake up and go, I wonder if we could all come back. I don’t think that feeling will ever go away. I’ll always be wondering what Cassie is up to in 'Euphoria'-verse."

Sydney Sweeney on Cassie facing constant scrutiny throughout #Euphoria:
"I’ve always found it really interesting how people scrutinize how Cassie was treated on the show, and then they do it to me in real life. There’s no awareness that [Cassie’s peers] sexualize Cassie on the show, but we’re going to do this in real life too. To be honest, sometimes it’s hard, but I hope maybe years from now, when people are separated from the craziness and the clickbait of social media, someone who sits back and watch it all, doing a deep dive, goes, 'Huh, maybe we all had this very wrong.'"

Sydney Sweeney on 'Euphoria' scenes that didn’t make the final cut:
"There were some really fun scenes...when Cassie goes to the strip club with Maddie and they’re doing the photoshoots. Cassie starts to see the girls on stage and she gets really excited. She’s like, 'Wow, these girls are beautiful. I could do this.' She gets wasted and she goes up on the stage, she gets all dressed up and Cassie pole dances. I did lessons for pole dancing, and it was so much fun. Imagine crazy Cassie on a pole, which was hilarious"
