Washington is a rebuild, and the rebuild is in Las Vegas tonight: 19-12 against 22-11. On Polymarket the Mystics' title price went 0.7c to 2.8c in a month. The defending champions went 20c to 14c. Still five times apart, closing from both ends.

Chicago opened the season at +50,000 to win the World Series, which is bookmaker for "please, no." They now lead the AL Central. BetMGM has walked them to +3000. Polymarket went 2.85c to 2.35c this week. One board bought the story. The other is checking its coat.

@BillSimmons The market has been making this point quietly for a month. Seattle's AL pennant price on Polymarket: 22c a month ago, 10.95c last week, 5.8c now. Boston went 6.5c to 19.2c over the same stretch. Same league, opposite escalators.
