I meet many young people who want immediate success. They are always thinking and worrying about the future. I tell them don’t worry about your greatness in the future. Just be great today.
Before you go to bed celebrate your success of the day. Identify one great thing about your day; one great conversation, accomplishment, thing that made you smile, or the win that you are most proud of. Focus on your success and you'll look forward to creating more tomorrow.
If you are missing a loved one right now I’ve lost both my parents and just want to encourage you. They are still with us, just in the next room. We can’t see them but they are around and at times we feel their presence. When we die I believe we will say “Aha. I get it.”
Full circle moment! My dad had me memorize this as a kid. He ran a HS magnet program & had every student memorize this too. As adults, they contact him about these words and how it still impacts them. LOVED seeing it hanging at Camp Edwards! @heatherwarrell@JCPSKY@kreceveur

Life is often like a pot of boiling water and you have a choice....
You can be like a 🥕and become soft. You can become hardened like an🥚. Or you can be like The Coffee Bean and transform your environment-situation into ☕️.
The Power is inside you!
