Tim Tebow said, "We can control a few things: our attitude, our effort, our focus, and how we go about treating our teammates."
You can't always control external events, but you control how you respond.
Respond don't react.

Everyone wants their kids to do/be well. We all want to help them succeed. Encouraging & supporting your child is one thing, but removing responsibility, fighting their battles & overprotecting them is doing them a lifetime of disservice. Enabling kids turns into disabling kids!
Teachers, NEVER let anyone make you feel guilty for enjoying your time off from school. Whether its excited on a Friday afternoon or even that springbreak is near. Teachers pour out their heart & soul on a daily basis! You're an amazing human, but you are human!
Parents: Stop:
Coaching from the stands
Yelling at refs
Lecturing your kids after games
Talking about teammates
Telling your kids to ignore coaching
Playing the blame game
Making failure unacceptable
You don’t need to coach. Be supportive. Offer encouragement & just love them!
Looking for some thoughts and prayers for a great family that just lost their, husband, father, son in law, brother and friend. Brandon was an all around great guy. Say a little prayer for his wife and daughters for strength through this difficult time.💔
Successful high school athletics change a community. Go to a state tournament and watch the community close down their town to come support. It’s more than just the student-athletes too. The band, cheerleaders, alum, parents, grandparents are all greatly impacted. It is SPECIAL!
Had such a great weekend!! Darin’s work party Saturday night. Great food, great friends, awesome family. Beautiful night❤️ Sunday, surprise Birthday Party for Mandi by Brian, Ellaina & Viviana. Once again, great food, family, friends! Loved watching everyone having a blast.
Bad teammates don’t take much seriously. Average teammates take games seriously. Good teammates take practice and games seriously. Great teammates take academics, nutrition, warm ups, weight room, conditioning, film, individual work, practice and games seriously.
