@emily_hulthen My advice? Give yourself some grace. It won’t be perfect, you are still amazing. You can be a great mom and a great employee at the same time, but some days are better than others for each of those. That’s ok! And talk to someone! It helps. You are going to do great!!
Grateful today for a broken Xbox? What, you might ask? See, when the Xbox is broken and I say “you can earn money to buy a new one by doing chores”, suddenly my yard is mowed and trimmed, mulching is all done for the year, weeds are sprayed with weed killer... ahhh...lovely!
Today, grateful for a good friend that brought me an Easter Lily as a surprise!! Almost brought me to tears since this is a tradition for me to get one and I hadn’t yet this year. My angel!
Today I’m grateful for patio haircuts! The only one I’ve done in the past is a Mohawk... cute when they’re little, not really little enough anymore. 😊 that’s Riley and our friend Seb (Gav’s roommate), who is staying with us until end of semester. Love these boys!
Grateful for my boys who make me laugh! The younger ones found a youth medium shirt and made the 20 year old put it in to see if he could hulk rip it by flexing! 😂
For my big brother’s 50th birthday party tomorrow at our house. He’s always been supportive, fun, and a great person to look up to. Do you think he will like the sign? BTW- he’s my only brother... (says he’s brother I’ve ever had).😂
Welcome to the Forest, @GavinFerrin! 🌲⚽️
Gavin joins #HUMS as a D2 transfer after earning SWBL Player of the Year and Second All-State at Bellbrook High.
Spent some time with my son’s teachers last night for conferences @BellbrookMS. I’m so impressed by their caring, passion for student success, and willingness to not treat each kid like they came from the same cookie cutter! Thanks for all you do!! You’re a blessing to so many
I’ve been so inspired by humble leaders in my career. May we give others credit and praise, may we know our success comes from the success of those around us.
