@dizzheart 91 degrees today. We typically don't have that kind of heat here. We didn't even have to turn the air on though. We stayed in the creek most of the day.

Went to a local thrift store today where my daughter got a couple of books. Next thing I know, the lady is telling my daughter oh no, you go back in there and fill up a bag. You can have the whole bag for $1. She managed to cram 15 books into one grocery bag.

@dizzheart She really wouldn't like us then. I have about 4 yucca's that I'm fixing to remove. I never thought we'd live in a world where cauliflower was offensive.

@dizzheart We've had little rain the past week so that's allowed it to dry up, but I loathe heat like that. Jim has to go do a furnace repair in an attic on Tuesday. He's going to do it early in the hope's of beating the heat.

@dizzheart It is supposed to be extremely hot here over the next week. 90+. We don't have weather like that here often and an entire week of it will suck entirely. I'm concerned about our bunnies. They don't do well in the heat. Frozen water bottles for everyone.

@dizzheart She does love horses. I'll tell her and she can start looking when she's there. I'm glad she has such a love of reading. Although it makes her forget her chores sometimes. :)
