Day 14 of #30DaysWild and I got put and about on a #peatland near Hawes checking our flow monitoring up there. We are collecting data to see what the impact of slowing the flow with our peat restoration has on #flood risk! @ypp_peat
Day 7 of #30DaysWild and I am pleased to say that the blue tit chicks in the barn are doing well, the nest has escaped the attention of the farm cat so far and the chicks don't look too far off fledging, fingers crossed!
Day 5 of #30DaysWild and very excited that the first State of Yorkshire's Nature is here, great set of statistics to help guide our conservation work and it shows us the stark situation we need to turn round! @YorksWildlife

It's the beginning of this year's #30DaysWild and I went down to my local @YorksWildlife reserve Adel Dam and watched the wildlife. Beautiful day. There was a jackdaw too heavy for the squirrel proof feeder who's figured out a method of jumping on it and getting its food 😄
Happy #bogday!! Pictures from one of my top five favourite bogs in Yorkshire, restored by @ypp_peat 10 years ago its looking amazing, with lots of my favourite bog plant #sundew! It's just the best time of year to be on bogs! @IUCNpeat

Day 26 of #30DaysWild and I visited #Brighton where they have giant starlings! (On the pier) A pavilion full of animals (on Chinese wallpapers, pic looks like a red-billed blue #magpie) and zero waste shops with good advice! A suitably wild place! @30DaysWild
