This photo deserves a Pulitzer Prize.
Not only does it represent our current state of politics but it mirrors many photos of past which confirm the ugly truth about progress…
It must be fought for by every generation.
A Florida university is threatening to withhold students' diplomas unless they record a 2-minute video apologizing for a silent protest they staged against ICE actions on campus.
Such is life in the "Free State of Florida" ....

Hi... Norwegian here.
When a woman finds out she’s pregnant, here’s what happens:
She calls her GP or midwife.
Appointment within a week.
7 check-ups across the pregnancy.
Two ultrasounds included.
All antenatal care is 100% free.
The birth itself is also free.
After the birth: A year of paid leave.
Then daycare at $124/month.
No insurance.
No denied claims.
No bill.
Just a system that says: we’ve got you..
One year after President Trump signed the largest health care cut in U.S. history into law, RFK Jr’s health department is doubling down.
His new rule will require cancer patients and other patients suffering from chronic debilitating diseases to do work searches and document that their disease impairs their ability to work or face losing lifesaving health care coverage through Medicaid. It’s inhumane. 48 patient groups agree.
Congress must block this grotesque rule before it takes effect on January 1st.
I'm going to KEEP talking about how Florida Senator Rick Scott, the RICHEST man in all of Congress DEFRAUDED Medicare & is trying to CUT Social Security.
Will you join me?🤚
At the Angelus prayer, Pope Leo XIV says that true love requires us to be detached, accept loss, and provide hospitality to those in need.

This makes me incredibly sad and tentatively hopeful at the same time. Let's get our sh*t together. For the love of God, country and basic human dignity.
Jay Leno's assessment of 83-year-old Joe Biden after spending a day driving through the Angeles National Forest in a 1967 Corvette Stingray: "He was very sharp. I thought maybe I would have to talk in a slower voice. But no, we just talked, and he was funny, and just making jokes. It was the old Joe again."
They stopped at a Handel's in La Cañada Flintridge. Biden surprised some kids waiting for ice cream. Shook every hand. Paid for a number of the kids' cones himself.
"Every handshake is worth 250 votes," Leno said. "Just congenial. Just a nice guy."
Meanwhile on the same Sunday, the current president was watching men in a cage fight each other on the South Lawn while a fighter grabbed the White House microphone to shout a conspiracy theory about Michelle Obama and another thanked him personally for making it possible.
Two men. Two Sundays. One country trying to figure out what it wants to be.
Biden talked about Beau. About NATO. About national parks. About the value of apprenticeships and the programs being cut that create them. Then he got chocolate chip.
Sometimes the contrast does all the work.
My favorite photo from yesterday's #obamagrandopeningceremony I love the energy and laughter these two always ignite when they meet! They need a podcast to help bring the country together and bridge divides. #Obamapresidentialcenter
There should be no billionaires or trillionaires in a society where many people don't have enough food to eat, a roof over their heads, or access to healthcare.
Can’t stop thinking about how Wall Street is celebrating Elon Musk becoming the world’s first trillionaire, while he single handedly eliminated humanitarian aid that will lead to the needless deaths of 4.5 million of the poorest children in the world in the next 4 years.
