Lives outside Philly, but from Bethlehem. You know - Bethlehem. In Pennsylvania.

"Root cause" discourse is silly; it's also wrong.
The root cause of obesity is eating too much.
The total amount of 'eating too much' needed to explain the obesity epidemic is one McDonald's Cheeseburger a day.
No poisons or toxins or diseases, society just got richer.
The SAVE Act is not a voter ID bill. It's a "DHS can revoke your right to vote by claiming you're not a citizen the day before an election" bill.
"Oops, our database must be out of date. Re-register with your municipality. Oh, there's no time before the election? Tough luck."
@EdWhelanEPPC The SAVE Act is NOT a voter ID bill. Its not demanding a drivers license to prove your identity.
Its a citizenship confirmation bill that requires birth certificates and (for some) marriage certificates & passports. There are very good arguments against imposing that burden

The US hard left want to point to a 19 year old Azov soldier with a neo-Nazi patch on his uniform and condemn an entire country to destruction in response, then look at a 41 year old ex-Blackwater mercenary with a Totenkopf tattooed on his chest and elect him into high office.
I personally like the word "Codex" quite a bit, but this got me thinking: what's the best word? Not for OpenAI. Just, y'know, in general.
Here are some initial candidates compiled when I was younger, to start things off.

“But Cors, a codex is also a word for a religious or legal manuscript, connoting the possession and transmission of esoter—”
CODEX IS “CODE” WITH AN X AT THE END. THAT’S HOW IT READS TO LAYPEOPLE. HOW ARE YOU PEOPLE THIS BAD AT NAMING THINGS????
The extremely boring answer is that MAiD in Canada is protected by a Supreme Court ruling, while the "right to try" experimental treatments is not.
I wrote a whole post on it!
Describing how your poor child is constantly suffering, has never been and will never be able to be independent and is a huge mental, physical and financial load on you and your family is absolutely not the argument AGAINST abortion you think it is
