okay I guess I have to talk about Péter Magyar here.
Let me just start with saying, in a very unladylike way, that you guys seem to have zero clue what happened in Hungary in the last two years, you completely miss the point, and you're a disappointing bunch.
Let's go.
There’s a version of the healthcare system people believe exists.
And then there’s the version you meet when you have a complex chronic illness.
They’re not the same.
@AlexHorne@SU2CUK@hornesection Well done, team! Such a fantastic effort from you all…
I still have the song going round and round in my head - so I dread to think what it’s like for you!
😊💗
@jdibon I had a half hour physio session for my frequently sublaxing joints on Weds last week. The physio is not trained for hypermobility/hEDS. She got me on gym equipment until I was dizzy.
I could barely breathe on Sat because of the pain between each of my ribs.
Is this helpful??
In light of the fact that repeated studies suggest that women are more likely to be develop Long Covid, I think it's really important to know what's happening with the different health conditions that specifically affect women.
This is a painful thread at times.
@1goodtern My long Covid has given me nystagmus - but only when I’m tired and trying to focus on something moving.
I now have a vari-focal prescription for the first time.
And I can’t easily focus on things close to my face (when you go slightly cross-eyed). It genuinely hurts!
@Helen_J_Andrew Do we think that John is going to be dressed as Freddie Mercury from the I Want To Break Free video?
(He deffo looks like he has eyeshadow and lippie on)
@ghostysapphic I think you’re missing Frankie from this list too…
(Him blowing the whistle at the golfer is one of my favourite bits.
Laugh? I nearly wet my wellies…)
@ThePOTSPostman Walking upstairs holding anything, even just my laptop and a drink.
Washing my hair.
It’s something about having my arms up - I feel my battery losing charge disproportionately…
