You can't *not* choose.
"Whatever man" is a choice, enforcing a worldview.
Since we *must* choose a system, pick the best.
Everyone believes *something*.
Ignoring Bitcoin is choosing Fiat.
"Magic internet money."
This description of Bitcoin was the best thing that could have ever happened to it.
It gave the community a rallying cry.
Hopefully, post v30 - we can get back to this.
"Highest-bidder decentralized internet storage" is pointless.
Is an amoral decision even possible?
There's a growing gap in the Bitcoin discourse: 'The code is amoral.' But the decision to run the code carries a moral weight.

The free market is brutal by design.
It's Genghis Khan.
Many who champion it aren't ready for its true nature—the reality is, they'd probably be the first to cry foul when it hurts.
Don't let them.
Bitcoin.
Bitcoin: humanity's first provably scarce, fixed-supply money.
Its unchangeable nature (unless society agrees) solves critical problems like nothing else can.
As the world slowly collapses, Bitcoiners with agency gain more control.
Bitcoiners can exit broken systems like public schools, choosing alternatives to protect their families and livelihoods.
Be a Bitcoiner.
Opt out.
Have you ever considered you never hear about the government "going away" but only about it "changing"?
The government to be a constant in your mind.
Never question the government's existence—or the current money system they use to control you– just "vote" for "change!"
Politicians want lemmings, not thinkers.
Importing loyal voters is easier than convincing independent minds.
This applies to BOTH sides of the aisle.
How do you think we can fix it?
Bitcoin's is trying to kill something that causes people a lot of pain.
This is Bitcoin's biggest messaging problem:
The world changes overnight in a painful way if Bitcoin wins.
But nobody likes pain...
Change aims to make something different.
Buttressing aims to reinforce what already exists.
Do you want good money (pre v30) or a good "database" (post v30).
Know the goal before you start.
At some point you must choose which software to run.
Are you running a "ledger" or a "database?"
If Bitcoin's sole purpose is to be a ledger, the only thing that matters is maximizing ledger space.
Core v Knots
Bitcoin's value isn't just technical—it's deeply moral.
Anything involving humans has a moral lens.
Because we're moral -- or amoral -- beings.
Relativism at its core undermines everything.
We need a strong standard to guide its future.
Don't overlook legal compliance when storing & accessing Bitcoin.
Knowing the rules is as important as knowing the tech.
Because if you know the rules...
The Bitcoin gray market:
local meetups are filled with people way smarter than you.
Being surrounded by that level of intellect feeds on itself. Makes you want to build a business around it. Helps you grow.
Get out there, plebs.
Build.
