Because a residency card is really only just the beginning.
The best part comes after: finding your place, getting your day-to-day sorted, meeting the right people, and figuring out how to make life here really work for you.
Thatโs what we increasingly found ourselves helping people with anyway.
So: new name, bigger idea, broader focus, still here on the ground in Bolivia.

Everyone asks what it costs to live in Santa Cruz. Most answers you'll find are from someone who hasn't lived here since 2019.
We put together actual monthly ranges: rent, groceries, healthcare, transport, utilities, all of it. It's Bolivia's least affordable city and the value is still solid.

If you already did your Paraguay residency, you know how it goes. Paperwork, waiting, a card at the end.
The people asking me about Bolivia right now aren't asking about paperwork. They're asking whether they'd actually like living here.
Better question.
Because here's what happens: you get the Paraguay card, check the residency box, and then realize legal status doesn't equal home. You're still figuring out where you want to actually be.
Bolivia's different for that question. It's not another paper residency. Santa Cruz has a pace and a community feel that fits most. The city works for daily life in a way that matters when you're past the logistics phase, and if it's not quite your thing, there's a dozen other great cities to pick from!
Paraguay gave you a great paper residency. Bolivia asks if and where you want to shoot roots. And they combine wonderfully by the way.
If you're asking whether you'd like it here, not just whether you can get residency, we should jump on a call: https://t.co/U8AJ9ToPp8
@SommerSoundOff I always say, People really do make the country!
Some places are beautiful but I wouldn't want to stay there longer than 3 days and others are ugly and pleasant to be!
Bolivia has both beautiful places and ugly places, but mostly the people are amazing also!
Bolivia has:
- The highest capital city on Earth
- Territorial Tax System
- The world's largest salt flat
- Lakes filled with flamingos
- Regulated banks that hold USDT
So many wonders, all in one country. ๐ง๐ด

Whatever you're picturing when you think "Bolivia," it's probably the one that doesn't represent most of it.
Most people only know the cold highland version. The majority of it is waiting for you to find it: a vast country with magical landscapes, towns, cultures and cuisines!
Oruro, nine years ago: a taxi driver shouted "maldito gringo" at me before both feet were on the ground. First hour inside Bolivia, after I took a bus from Chile.
Santa Cruz, today: palm trees, 30 degrees, and I'm not going anywhere. Nicest vibes and lifestyle ever.
Same country. Different planet.
Actually about 4 vastly different planets:
๐ท Tarija: vineyards and wine country
๐ธ Cochabamba: perfect spring weather year-round
๐ด Santa Cruz: lowland Miami vibes
โ๏ธ La Paz and Oruro: cold highlands & bustling cities
@SommerSoundOff Yeah! That's one of the many many reasons we love it so much here. Give us a follow we will be exploring many of those beautiful little places soon ๐ค
