STRETCH GOAL
We've been completely blown away by the support for this film and getting Ruth & Kitty's story on screen.
We never thought we'd be in this position, but we're stretching our campaign to see if we can get more funds to tell this story in the way it deserves...
ID: An orange-hued background photo of a beach at sunset. A black text box reads ‘THANK YOU’ in bold yellow letters. Below it, there’s a yellow line drawing of a young woman in a wheelchair, and an illustration of six balloons. Yellow letters read ‘WE’VE REACHED OUR GOAL!’.
So this feels too good to be true, but... we’ve reached our funding target! And with 11 DAYS still to go?! We almost can't believe it.
Thank you for believing in this film. For sharing, supporting, & spreading the word. And thank you most of all for all of your generous pledges.
It's been incredible to watch people respond to BETTER: to Ruth & Kitty and their story.
And this is just the beginning...
Updates to come!
But for now, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU 💛
70% funded! WOW. A huge, whopping THANK YOU to all of you who’ve made a pledge so far. We feel incredibly moved that so many of you want to see this film get made 💛
Now only 14 days to go... There's still time to chip in if you want to help push us a little closer to our goal!

We're really chuffed that @Kickstarter has selected BETTER as a #ProjectWeLove! We're off to a great start, but have some way to go - so please keep sharing our campaign with anyone who loves short films and exciting, authentic disabled representation ♿️

🚨~new project klaxon~🙈
@BetterShort is a new short film I've got in the works...
It's a fiction film about ableism, invisible illness + pissing off your sister.
We're making a new film! This one's called "BETTER" @BetterShort and it's about disability, ableism & sibling relationships. We've just launched a Kickstarter to help make it happen - we'd love for you to take a look if this sounds up your street 💜 https://t.co/9uMrGmegQZ
By funding BETTER, you’re allowing us to continue the conversation we started with our first film @ill_actually by putting more complex, sexy disabled characters on screen 🔥 Thank you so mich for reading & watching & considering.
So... our big news: we've just launched a KICKSTARTER campaign for BETTER! ✨
We recently received the news that BETTER has been part-funded by a lovely (but for now secret) public body...
We've got some fun rewards on there if you want to chip in a penny or two - and we'd love it if you might consider sharing the campaign with your networks or with anyone you think would believe in this film and want to see it come to life.
