This is true. High brow culture experts might look down on Warhammer 40K as just some nerd hobby.

It encompasses so many historical and religious archetypes that it is worthy to be called a real mythos.

And it all revolves around a central figure - the God-Emperor of Mankind, entombed on the Golden Throne.

A figure of Christ, Odin, Caesar, Atlas and Hercules all in one.
