@ScottyLovesCLE How many of those losses came to a player ranked 600 or lower sitting and grinding ITF 25K?
I wouls guess one or two if even that.
This dude has been playing ATP/Challenger most of his life so ofcourse he is gonna struggle on his worst surface when playing _GOOD_ players…
@ScottyLovesCLE I never said that. What i said was there are different kind of levels in tennis and in the cases i just mentioned, Noskova and Otto, are clear cases of that even if both lost. Otto Virtanen is closer to Janik Sinner than this dude he played today is to Otto Virtanen.
@ScottyLovesCLE Players are forced to play x amount of tournaments and thats why they tank like they do.
Just like Noskova did pre Wimbledon. She got embarassed by Ruse at grass and look now, probably about to win her first slam.
She didnt give a single fuck in that match, just like Otto today.
@ScottyLovesCLE Lets just say its not the first or last time Otto Virtanen shows up to a tournament and tanks it in the first round/qualies.
Doesnt have anything to do with talent or not.
@ScottyLovesCLE Doesnt make any difference. 609 in the world is not impressive at that age and he should stand zero chance vs any decent challenger player.
@ArkadeepChakr10@DavidEscuderoG3 He came back from 0-2 to 3-2(complete humiliation in the last 2 sets) vs 🗑️ Carreno Busta at Roland Garros a month ago so he will probably win after getting some rest and reset.
@minimoze@deakinkoz A brilliant match? She cant win after being up a set and 4-3, MP at 7-6 in the TB. How is that a brilliant match? She is playing someone who havent played a match in four years, doesnt matter if her name is Serena Williams or not, it’s an absolute shitshow from Maya Joint.
