@babetron002 Last reply (apologies for the long reply ππ) but then again, thinking about it, I think it might be because Ayra's songs that most know/most popular aren't really her introspective deep cuts like songs like "In Between" where her songwriting skills really shine.
@babetron002 I feel what gives Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Tems & even SZA a lot of (deserved) respect from the industry + public is that we know they write a lot of their own songs. idk why Ayra's team/label never really pushed that about Ayra?
@chisom_ayra@cuntrrssny someone that artists like flowerovlove have gone out of their way to publicly praise for how nice she was to them behind the scenes & even saying how she went out of her way to help them when she didn't have to is a "mean girl" π
@OkojiNkem@cuntrrssny wheww when I say many dark skin black women (& black people in general) are A LOT more harsher to women that look like them/other dark skin women in comparison to how they react (& their excuses) to similar personalities of non-dark skin women.... whew Ayra being a "mean girl" π
@nonamme145 yeppp! same with films + TV shows too tbh (i still struggle with this sometimes cause I feel like I HAVE to finish every movie/show I start even if the storyline begins to bore, annoy or irritate meπ« )
