I actually pray for my patients
When the prognosis is bad, I pray their hearts to hope
When it's end stage and terminal, I pray our conversations lead to light
I have a group of Christian doctors where we deliberately meet to pray for patients especially bad cases
Few months ago, we had a terrible case the best of hands didn't know the way forward and the patient had given up, ready to pull the plug.
Following that rounds, I took some time in the call room to really pray for him so the Holy Spirit instructed I visit, so I stayed back after work in order to visit in the night
That night I came into the ward, had some good gist that consentingly led to conversations around faith, hope and the person of Jesus and we basically held a full blown service.
Right that night, it just appeared a new burst of hope and direction for everyone.
Earlier this week, I saw him from a distance walk out of the outpatient department with his two legs and my heart was merry!
I may not be able to go to church every time because of work but I understand that I am God's workmanship created for good works in the health sector and for me? I was called!
This is the simplest and the most mind-blowing message you will ever hear on the Mercy and the Goodness of God.
As we start the new year, we all need it.
A Christian should be the best employee in the company. Not primarily because they want a promotion, but primarily because they are working for the greatest Master: the Lord (Col. 3:23).
This made me literally shed a tear…
Love is the most beautiful thing in the universe.
It’s one thing to be loving, it’s another thing to know how to show it 🥰❤️
I beg you all in the Name of God, let’s not forget the 165 Children of St MARY Catholic School still in Captivity by Fulani Kidnappers

Babylon: The Logic of Captivity and the Rise of Its Digital Twin
Babylon has never been random — it is a systematic strategy.
Its agenda rests on three pillars: confusion, captivity, and carrying away.
And in every age, it updates its tools — from baked bricks in Genesis, to imperial courts in Daniel, to golden cups in Revelation.
Today, it’s streaming in 4K, updating in real time, and slipping into your pocket through your phone.
1. Confusion — The First Strike
The very name “Babel” comes from balal — to mix, to jumble, to scramble. In Genesis 11, God confused their language, but before God’s intervention, Babylon’s own strategy was to confuse allegiance — blending divine image-bearers into a man-centred monument.
In its digital incarnation, confusion is no longer about language barriers — it’s about language overload. A single scroll on your feed delivers gospel truth, heresy, breaking news, and deep fakes in the same voice and tone.
Confusion is the softening agent — it blurs the lines so you can’t tell holy from profane, fact from fiction, or Christ from counterfeits.
2. Captivity — The Silent Bind
Once you are confused, Babylon doesn’t need chains — it binds you with culture. In Daniel’s day, that meant changing your name, feeding you from the king’s table, re-educating you in their literature.
In the digital Babylon, captivity is algorithmic. You’re fed the king’s diet in the form of endless content streams shaped to your appetites, until your convictions start scrolling in the same direction.
It’s captivity without walls — the prison is portable, and you carry it willingly.
3. Carrying Away — The Extraction of Potential
Babylon’s final move is to carry you away — not just geographically, but vocationally, morally, spiritually. Daniel and his peers were uprooted from Jerusalem, stripped of their temple, and repurposed for the king’s court.
Today, the carrying away is digital displacement — your attention, your creativity, your calling is uprooted from kingdom service and relocated into building Babylon’s digital towers: likes, shares, monetised distraction.
The enemy doesn’t mind your skill, as long as it builds his system instead of God’s kingdom.
The Digital Babylon on the Prowl
This modern Babylon is not a city with walls; it is a network without borders. It’s in your feed, your entertainment, your marketplace, your school systems.
Its confusion is high-speed — updates, notifications, “breaking” alerts that break more focus than they break news.
Its captivity is personalised — AI and algorithms curate your reality until you no longer remember what unfiltered truth feels like.
Its carrying away is voluntary — you click “Agree to Terms” without reading, surrendering more than your data; you surrender your patterns of thought.
The Loud Warning
Babylon has always been a counterfeit kingdom — its confusion mimics Pentecost’s diversity but without the Spirit, its captivity mimics discipleship but without the cross, and its carrying away mimics apostolic sending but without the Gospel.
The digital version is no different — only faster, smarter, more invisible.
If you don’t guard your allegiance, you will find yourself building its towers, singing its songs, and spending your life in service to a system designed to oppose the Lamb.
The Believer’s Counter-Strategy
Clarity over confusion: Immerse in the Word until it becomes the dominant algorithm in your mind.
Freedom over captivity: Set holy boundaries on what you consume and who shapes your worldview.
Rootedness over carrying away: Anchor in the body of Christ so that your gifts build Zion, not Babylon.
This is the hour to declare — I am not for sale, I am not for show, and I am not for Babylon.
The Lamb is my King, His Word is my feed, and His Kingdom is my platform.

Hello everyone.
Please I’m in need of a role that sponsors and provides a certificate of sponsorship.
I have been given till next month to find a job. I was sponsored by my previous employer however was made redundant due to company restructuring.
Last week, I sent someone 50k and they asked someone else for my account details and sent it back. They told me to keep my “$31.25”.
I honestly am tired of the entitlement to my very limited resources. I’m being pulled from all corners. The disappointment and pain cannot even be explained.
I’m stressed around the clock, my blood pressure is high and I keep feeling like I’ll drop one day and that’ll be how my story ends.
I couldn’t breathe from how badly I cried and this happened the same day a job I was so sure of, moved on with someone else (we had been interviewing).
Feeling both relieved and disappointed in myself for tweeting this but it gets to a point…
