A Luo landlord threw Josephine Chepngeno, 38, and her four children out of their house over KSh 12,800 in rent arrears.
They spent four nights in the cold before a struggling Kikuyu tenant opened her door and took them in.
Tonight, I went to see them and took them food.
My wife prayed with Josephine. They cried together. I stood there watching them, hurting inside.
I didn't cry.
Men don't cry, or so we pretend. But some things break your heart in ways words cannot explain.
Imagine being a mother of four, watching your children lose the one place they called home, with nowhere to go and nobody to turn to.
Josephine comes from Belgut, Kericho.
She wants to go home and start again.
But her belongings are still locked inside the house, and she needs help recovering them and raising fare for the journey home.
The woman sheltering her is also struggling financially.
Yet she found room for another mother's pain when the rest of the world looked away.
Please, let us rescue Josephine and her four little children.
Your KSh 100 matters. Your KSh 200 matters.
Whatever you can give could help unlock her belongings, get this family home and give a desperate mother a chance to begin again.
Please don't scroll past this. Those children did nothing wrong. They deserve warmth, safety and a chance at a better tomorrow.
To support Josephine 0714343779.
May heavens touch our hearts and give this family a new beginning.
@AokoOtieno_ Wueh! Haki waluhya nani alituroga???? I can't believe that is Caleb Amisi referring to Omwami Sifuna as "a very bogus guy" !!! Indeed envy is not different from witchcraft.
@AokoOtieno_ The few coins she is paid by Itumbi have made her drunk. Stop abusing Omwami Sifuna and Babu. Very soon, you will be eating your words when tables turn. Bure kabisa.
@Naomikibandi Unbelievable that the constituents, particularly women who source for water from tens of kilometers away are cheering this man on! I don't understand what Kenyan voters want..shame!!!
@generali_osumo Too much blood is now crying to God from Kenya's ground, hence the disasters bedevelling the Nation. Perpetrators of the heinous atrocities should repent, lest the Nation perishes under God's unrelenting wrath - remember Achan's sin?
My brothers and sisters from Western Kenya, the bribe price they pay for us to make a bad choice on the ballot is fanda and omugadi. In Mountain Kenya, they are paid in boreholes, electricity, gas cylinders, two weeks old efiminywi and boats. They take the bribe price but still do the right thing. Anyway, we take after our two main leaders, โbuy one get the other one for freeโ na โwakishiba, hawana ubaya.โ
@AokoOtieno_ Unbelievable! Because God says in his word that the battle belongs to Him, his wrath will consume them just to save us from Ebola infections. Ruto, be sensitive for once and refuse to push your citizens into this death trap or else God Himself will not spare you this time.
@ouma_neko Omar Hassan is just a SG, he has dampened his chances of amounting to anything in Kenya. A whole human rights chief just turned into a goon. Nobody would want such a man for a leader. Good self-riddance, Moha Jicho Pevu will have a smooth ride at the ballot for Mombasa governor.
@RobertAlai Wueh! this kind of wickedness reaches to the high heavens. What kind of hatred is this? It is beyond politics. He shouldn't be anybody's leader. Kila mara anachoma tu kama sura yake. First he should examine himself in a mirror and from his inside. His bile has become too much.
@Mastardcesh A typical Mulembe son speaking from the depth of his stomach. Seems mjamaa is feeling envious of Traore's gold that is changing the lives of all Burkinabes. Who bewitched our ingo leaders haki? Instead of desiring to do what Traore is doing for his citizens, unamkashifu! Shame
@georgediano She can as well go for good to continue "nurturing her young family" so a more capable person can take over the reigns of Nakuru, Alaaaaa! Nauru has no shortage of able governance experts.
@Honcalebamisi OMG! Aren't there other eligible men and women of renown in Nandi that it must just be Sang to hog all leadership positions? Theater of the absurd! This is why we can't move, such people always think leadership is theirs for keeps until death will they part. Give others a chance
@HonWetangula But Omwami Weta, I thought as the National Assembly Speaker, you should never be openly seen to take sides? You should remain a neutral referee at all times. Hii yako ni gani sasa??? Learn from the Solomonic man, Speaker Marende and God will be so pleased with your work. Shame!!
@sholard_mancity Exactly what happened with President Omar El Bashir and the Janjaweed militia who became rebels against the government, operating in Darfur. They morphed into the RSF that recently formed a parallel government in Sudan. Very risky to meddle into the affairs of another country.
