On a Balkan news station, they were interviewing a Medical Doctor.
They brought him on to ask what people can do to prepare for winter illness.
His Answer: Start banking as much Sun as possible now. Get your skin to lock in as much color now. This is vitamins that are far superior to any supplement & medicine to help you avoid being sick as well as aiding in healing. Both immunity & winter depression.”
He also mentioned to get outside & access the sun as much as you can in the winter as well to continue building. “This is real medicine. Stop hiding in the house.”
Meanwhile American Doctors: “The Sun is dangerous. Avoid!! Here’s your seasonal prescription of TamiFlu.”
Staying in BF Nebraska and took a walk into the field outside the HIE. These things are absolutely everywhere along the mowed lawn & natural area transition but you have to take a few steps into the grass to really see them.
In Lima, as in many cities, it’s common for vendors to walk through stopped traffic selling refreshments. This man, on the other hand, was out selling globes.

Hanaq VIP Lounge LIM review: Slightly better than waiting in the terminal. It’s got better AC, at least in some areas. The food looks meh (didn’t try). It’s huge, spanning 3 levels, but crowded. We used the reservation system available in the Priority Pass app, worked great. Up to 4 guests per cardholder allowed. Apparently a new terminal is opening in Lima sometime in 2025, hopefully better options coming.

San Isidro (pictured) is nice, but Miraflores is where it’s at in terms of food, vibe, and attractions imo. Going to explore Barranco tomorrow. I dig it here in Lima!
Street meat and picarones on the food tour this evening and a couple pics from Huaca Pucllana earlier today. Looking forward to taking it easy tomorrow. 🥱
