Blown away by my visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque @szgmc_uae
today. It’s architecture is stunning and it’s so pretty, humbling and captivating. I’ll be one of 7 million visitors this year.

Incredibly sad to visit the ‘Shoes on the Danube’ memorial. It was created to honour Jews massacred in the 2nd World War. They were ordered to take off their shoes (shoes were valuable and could be resold), and were shot at the water’s edge so their bodies fell into the river.
